I try to spend at least 2 hours there, but that doesn't usually sit well with Peggy. WHY would someone not want to spend all day at the barn?

Sometimes she rides by the river.
She says it makes her feel
Reckless and young.
She closes her eyes,
And she holds on tight;
And she lets that pony run.

Just one horse so I'm usually there from an hour and 1/2 to two hours a day, depending on how things are going. I work full time, so I get out to the barn right after work. Weekends, depending on what is happening depends on how much time I'll spend there.

Well, I am there anywhere from 3-7 hours. Running a boarding stable, I have 9 horses/ponies to take care of. From cleaning stalls (I only do full board), preparing feed, cleaning outside water tubs (filling twice daily in this hot weather), cleaning paddocks, fixing anything that needs being fix, and then if time I get to ride. usually about 3-4 times a week. (I also have 2 boys and a husband to take care of). I probably missed something but oh well.lol.

When I ride I spend 3+ hours at the barn. If I'm doing barn work and ride after I spend more than 9 hours. When I decide to just hang out with my horse and not ride i usualy spend 1-1.5 hours.
