She's a 7 year old mare by Awesome Conclusion, in foal to Blazing Hot. This is her first baby! We're very excited. She's due the 26th of January. She started bagging up about a week ago, and the vet says she's right on track. Hopefully the baby will halter and do the western stuff.

Well my foal predictions are notoriously wrong but I'll guess Jan 25th.
She's a lovely looking mare and I wish you and her good luck.  PS that's a pretty nice looking inside of a barn too

Sorry, I was at a show.
Sarah had a healthy filly at 1:20 in the afternoon on Saturday. She passed her placenta, the baby is nursing, her umbilicus looks good, and we're thrilled! She's a great mom. They went for a walk at about 10:00 AM today. She's a wonderful little filly- she would rather lope than jog, and she's got all the right angles in all the right places. She's dark bay with a star. I'll have pictures up by 10:00 tonight. There are a ton to upload. One down, two more to go! |
