My horse is laid up for a while. Throughout my last year of owning him, we've experienced a lot of issues. I've lost my confidence in him, and hes lost it with me. I'm frightened to jump and trail ride him due to some bad experiences, and before that all happened we were cantering and jumping and everythign (except trailriding) bareback and in a halter. So, what do you think about the parelli system? Do you really NEED the kits? How long has it take you to see the difference in you and your horses? Thanks.

I like the parelli programs. I started using some of the parelli stuff like the 7 games last yr when a friend told me about them.

I did not have the kits you don't NEED the kits. IMO it's just a money grab like everything else is...LOL

Just go buy yourself a good rope halter with a nice long lead and a leather popper on the end and that's pretty much all you need. along with a dressage whip and a plastic bag. That is all I ever used and when I first started the parelli stuff I just used my regular nylon halter.

How long does it take to see results in your horse? All depends on you and most importantly your horse!

Take your Time and be patient!

Hi,

The Parelli program has changed my horse greatly. I started noticing the diffefrance after two weeks. The barn bought the parelli packets since we have alot of people doing differant things, but you dont really need it as long as there is someone there that nows the program.

I am interested to hear more about this as well. I have been reading one of his books and looking into the program myself.

Yeah, You don't need the kits, also this forum is really helpful. Iknow all seven games are posted somewhere, and the begining of level 2 I posted. Goood Luck If you have any direct questions I would be happy to help.
